This series follows two friends as they experience life and search for a better existence. Inspired by the aesthetic of the 80s, an era known for electronic dance music and the resurgence of neon lights, the scenes transport us to a world of “Neon Paradise”. Living in Miami for a year, surrounded by diverse music, neon lights, and immersed in a vivid color scene, inspired this painting series. I aimed to capture the joy of living and having fun within a mysterious, surreal setting, where viewers could join in the excitement.
Utilizing the paintbrush fibers, I created dynamic textures across the paintings. The fluorescent colors serve to emphasize the vibrant glow and its reflections on the main components of each composition. Common elements bring together all the paintings, including neon lights, landscapes, bright colors, tropical elements, and an aura of mystery. The series comprises five mesmerizing artworks, each painting is rich in symbolism and meaning, creating a narrative that unfolds through vibrant imagery and artistic expression.
